Instructions to make Breakfast Pizza :
- Mix all the dry ingredients and the oil, then slowly start adding the luke warm milk a little at a time..
- Get it to a soft dough, the softer the better, knead it very well for at least 10 minutes or more if possible..
- Dab a touch of oil all over the dough, then cover it and place it somewhere warm..
- Leave it to rise to double its size, takes about 40 minutes to an hour depending on the weather..
- Once risen, punch it down, give it a quick knead and then roll it out to about 12 inches diameter and place on your greased pizza pan or pizza tray..
- Cover the tray with a light cloth and let the base rest/rise slightly for about 15-20 minutes..
- In the meantime, preheat the oven at 180C..
- Make small slits on the base using the tip of a sharp knife. This helps prevent the pizza base from puffing up too much..
- Apply a thin layer of pizza sauce, then sprinkle a handful or more of the grated cheese..
- Next spread out the minced meat, onions, red and green bell peppers carefully..
- Do not overload the pizza as too much weight from the toppings could stop the base from rising/cooking well during baking..
- Sprinkle the remainder of the shredded cheese over the toppings and then drizzle a bit of ketchup or chilli sauce for a spicy kick..
- Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until golden and bubbly..
